Jan Zöbisch (born 1991) lives in Trier and Düsseldorf. At the age of 28, he discovered his passion for photography thanks to a birthday present. A year later, he decided to leave his job as a sales manager at an international confectionery company to pursue his new calling.

Jan specialises in street photography and is fascinated by the small, often overlooked moments of everyday life that carry depth or beauty within them. His works are characterisedby aesthetics, tranquillity and (analogue) black-and-white images that emphasise atmosphere, emotion and composition. For him, street photography is more than just a picture; it is a reflection of the transience of life and the capture of a random moment that will never return.

As he no longer wanted to leave his work entirely to chance, he added fashion photography to his portfolio and now works for various brands and shows, such as London Fashion Week.

With projects such as ‘Sektor9000’ – an artists' collective with a studio in Trier – he creates spaces for art, community and creative participation.
